Iain is executive director of operations at Bright Horizons. He has extensive experience in education, most recently as the director of education for a group of international early years, primary and secondary schools in the United Arab Emirates.

He has been a school leader and principal in Jordan, Bahrain, Libya, Thailand and Abu Dhabi, and led a project for the British Council to establish bilingual, bicultural nurseries in multiple cities across Europe. Iain is founder, trustee, and now a board member of an academy trust in Cheshire, having established the first free school in Chester. He is a trained Ofsted inspector.
